We describe our work, in both filmmaking and photography, as a hybrid between documentary photojournalism and artistic portraiture. Our passion is capturing authentic moments and creating portraits that embody you and your emotions. Oh, and course we’re there to coordinate and document those family photos as well.
Altogether, our team shoots about 65 weddings each year. However, we personally limit ourselves to 25-30 weddings per shooter. It’s important to us to provide personal attention to each couple. We also have other photographic and film passions, which include art, nature, travel and corporate projects. Mixing it up helps keep us fresh, able and creatively tuned in.
Our work is inspired by traveling, so wherever you’re getting married we would be thrilled to be there. We typically shoot around 10 destination weddings each year.
We know the waiting game is tough! We’ll do our part to hurry that along. On the photo side, we’ll share a sampling online within a week of your wedding and we will contact you with a full gallery in about 4-6 weeks. And we do our best to get your wedding film completed and online within 3 months.

We want to know all about you as a couple and your wedding plans. A signed contract and a deposit saves your date from getting snatched up by another couple! It’s as simple as that!
We build a complimentary engagement session into every one of our packages for two reasons: 1) We think it’s important to fully capture this time in your life – before this amazing transition in your lives as a couple and 2) We love spending time with couples before the wedding day because we learn so much about your style, comfort level in front of the camera and love for each other.
You can certainly book One Tree photography and film separately. We’re happy to work with other wedding vendors. However, we will say that we have years of practice working together. Our style and approach is the same. We work to complement each other’s product. So in the end you have a cohesive visual representation of your day.
